Science

NHSC’s Science Program prepares students for entry-level careers in general science or for concentration in a specific field of science. Students have the option to begin secondary education course work. Courses are tailored to meet the needs of students who transfer to four-year degree programs with a science major.

Career paths available with an associate’s degree in science include:
• Medical assistant

• Park Ranger

• Game and Fish Employee

• Registered nurse (RN)

• Physical therapist assistant

• Dental hygienist

• Certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA)

• Radiologic technologist
