Bachelor of Science Program
NHSC’s Environmental Science Program focuses on integrating local Fort Berthold environmental issues with Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara cultures. The program is a continuation of the AS in Environmental Science program and provides a solid foundation in a range of specialties including water, air and soil quality; wildlife, range and fisheries management; toxicology; and resource conservation, allowing you to work in a wide range of natural resource-related areas. The program will prepare you for employment in fields such as fish and wildlife management, recreation management, resource management, environmental quality and range/grasslands management. You will study a range of specialties, but should specialize in one field by choosing your electives, student internship and field research.
