Elementary Education
Associate of Arts Degree Program
NHSC’s Elementary Education Program includes an associate of arts degree, which also allows you to advance into the four-year elementary education degree program. You must earn the associate’s degree before being accepted into the bachelor’s degree program unless special permission is granted by the program director.
Career paths available with an associate of arts degree in elementary education include:
• Preschool teacher
• Teacher assistants
• Daycare centers
