Addiction Studies

The NHSC Human Services Addiction Studies associate’s degree curriculum provides the paraprofessional level of competencies needed to become an addiction-helping professional with the potential to transfer to a four-year college. An associate’s degree in addiction studies provides theoretical knowledge about the nature, etiology and treatment of alcohol and other drug issues.
