Sustainable Energy

Sustainable Energy includes renewable energy sources (such as solar energy, wind energy, and energy from biomass) and technologies designed to improve energy efficiency. NHSC offers degrees in Sustainable Energy Technologies (SET). This program will provide you with the education needed to become solar installers, technicians and operators of both Solar and Wind technologies. Cohort members engage in a two-year program leading to an Associate of Science in Sustainable Technologies Management. After earning an Associate of Science Degree, cohort members have the option to continue on at NHSC for a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or transfer out.
